Morning Rounds
Just as we round on our patients in hospital each morning, your parts need daily care and attention.* As little as five minutes a day can be enough and will translate into further ‘micro moments’ throughout your day where you briefly recognize a part and feel some curiosity or compassion toward it.
Here is a template that may help you with these check-ins. Feel free to create your own that works best for you!
*If the idea of rounds brings up resistance or negative memories, you might prefer to think of these check-ins as a morning huddle, family meeting, sharing circle, or ‘kindness rounds.’
